I’m Dr. Christopher Mikael Jordan, and I’ve spent over 30 years at the intersection of technology, security, and education. My career has taken me through higher education, healthcare, and enterprise IT, where I’ve led cybersecurity operations, managed complex IT infrastructures, and ensured compliance with standards like HIPAA and FERPA. I thrive on helping organizations stay secure, efficient, and prepared for the evolving digital landscape.

With a Ph.D. in Health Professions Education and a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, I also bring a strong focus on learning and mentorship. I enjoy training the next generation of IT and cybersecurity professionals and designing programs that combine technical skills with strategic thinking. Whether it’s securing networks, implementing cloud solutions, or guiding teams through technology transformation, my goal is to bridge the gap between technology, security, and education—making systems safer and people more empowered.

I bring over 30 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, and higher education, combining technical expertise with strategic leadership. I specialize in securing IT infrastructures, managing endpoint and network security, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and CIPA. I am experienced with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Workspace, as well as Active Directory, Office 365 administration, and virtualization deployments.

My work includes threat detection, vulnerability assessment, incident response, and delivering security awareness training. I leverage Python and PowerShell scripting to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency, supported by tools such as SentinelOne, Security Onion, and AWS GuardDuty.

With a Ph.D. in Health Professions Education and a focus on AI, I also mentor staff and students, designing training programs that develop practical technical skills. I help organizations bridge the gap between technology, security, and learning, creating safer, more effective digital environments.
